Footing systems

Strip Footings
A strip footing is a trench filled with concrete and reinforcement steel to support a heavy load such as brick work.
Strip footings are commonly used in the construction types such as a brick wall or brick veneer house on a sub floor system ,or underneath a slab on the ground system construction method..
The depth of the footing depends on the soil classification.
"On sloping ground steps need to be formed into the strip footings and also if there are any waste pipes that need to pass through the footing ,organise with your plumber to install these before pouring"
