Before any boxing of the slab is constructed it is necessary for the contracted plumber to start work and install the under ground plumbing requirements for the job.The out line of the construction needs to be set out before the plumber can start work.All pipes should be taped up to prevent concrete getting in them.

Footing systems

The picture shows plumbing pipes sticking out of the ground.
Note the pipe with the round cap on top,that is called a smart pan which will be cut off when the slab get poured and set at base level,these are used where shower or bath wastes are required
